Biitchseat: Unabashedly poppy and shimmery, Biitchseat was formed in Cleveland in 2017 by best friends and guitar players Talor Smith (she/they) and Kristin Schmit (she/her). The pop sensibility and sparkle in their music is only matched by their live performances, which are always energetic and, at times, captivating and vulnerable. HLAG: Hailing from the streets of Philadelphia, Hit Like a Girl isn't just a band; it's a raw, expression of emotion, crafted by the visionary nonbinary front person, Nicolle Maroulis (they/them). With a sound that resonates with the soul and lyrics that cut to the core, Hit Like a Girl delves deep into the complexities of love and loss, inviting listeners to explore the tangled web of human connection. The band also uses their platform to uplift the nonprofit organization No More Dysphoria that helps trans/gender non-conforming individuals with direct aid towards their gender affirming journeys.
