Amp Melo - Live in Concert
with Special Guests: The Street Sweepers
Amp Melo, formerly known as “Amplified,” is a dynamic artist hailing from Santa Cruz, CA. Known for seamlessly blending raw Hip-Hop lyricism with soulful R&B melodies, his music is enriched by funky basslines and infectious rhythms. Drawing inspiration from legends like The Roots, Blu & Exile, Aloe Blacc, Logic, Mos Def, Tuxedo, Rick James, and Atmosphere, Amp crafts a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary.
Amp’s live shows are electric, combining high-energy crowd engagement, captivating rap performances, and soulful singing that echoes the likes of Rick James and Leon Bridges. With dynamic setlists that include originals and crowd-pleasing covers, his performances showcase a special charisma and versatility that keep audiences hooked. Backed by a DJ, a funk bassist, and the unique touch of Jazz Flute, Amp delivers a powerful presence while maintaining a low-profile footprint on stage, letting the music take center stage.
Amp has been building a loyal fanbase and growing buzz since his name change in 2024. In the SF Bay Area, he’s become a frequent name at local shows and has landed opening slots for artists like GZA of The Wu-Tang Clan, The Pharcyde, Talib Kweli, Marlon Craft, Little Stranger, Shwayze, Collie Buddz, and The Expendables.
With over 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Amp Melo continues to expand his audience through his 2024 debut project, Off The Bench.

The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver is a music venue born out of a drink and a conversation about the old Denver music scene. Created by Kellner Schoenke at their Longmont restaurant, The Black Buzzard drink fused bacon-infused bourbon and ten fidy imperial stout. Chef and Oskar Blues fooderies partner, Jason Rogers, shared a sip with Kellner, and they realized they had both frequented the same closed blues bar on 16th and Market Street, Brendan's. Years later, Brendan's became available, and it seemed like the perfect time to put some music back into the heart of LoDo. They named the venue after the drink that started it all. Today, located blocks away from Coors Field and Union Station, The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver hosts buzz-worthy musicians of all genres from Denver and beyond.
