An artist-in-residence leads three in-the-round performances throughout the year featuring rotating groups of multi-instrumentalists. For her first edition, South Asian-American vocalist, sitarist, composer and producer Ami Dang invites the electronic artist, ZT Christensen, whose innovative work with modular synthesizers and bass creates brooding and captivating textures and melodies that bare semblance to elements of pop music while reflecting his roots in Baltimore's vibrant electronic music community. For her first edition, South Asian-American vocalist, sitarist, composer, and producer **Ami Dang** invites **ZT Christensen**—known for his brooding, melodic work with modular synthesizers and bass, echoing both pop and Baltimore’s vibrant electronic scene—and **Michael Beharie**, whose sound moves between sound system culture, pop transmission, and free improvisation.
