Hyperion Presents Ora the Molecule, TRY and MILKBLOOD!
Ora the Molecule is the bold, boundary-pushing project of Norwegian artist Nora Schjelderup, blending art-pop, Italo-disco, and electronic elements into an otherworldly sound. After introducing her eclectic style with the 2021 debut album Human Safari, Schjelderup returns with Dance Therapy, a vibrant, cosmic exploration of love, loss, and self-discovery, propelled in part by her experiences as a DJ. Crafting her music from a secluded cabin studio outside Oslo invites listeners into a world where dance meets introspection through the enigmatic character of Ora.
The debut album from Sam i and Shmuck the Loyal’s new collaborative project TRY spans a wide variety of sounds and moods, bringing nothing but energy and a positive glow to match. The duo gathers an impressive roster of collaborators, offering an unforgettable listening experience. The inspired union of the Grammy-nominated DJ, producer and songwriter Sam i (formerly of hip-hop duo N.A.S.A.) and Nashville production and songwriting vanguard Shmuck has origins in late 2019, when the two artists started collaborating in earnest. Their debut album came together organically over the years, spanning the sounds of gorgeous 2step, the clattering bombast of trap, house music’s insistent pulse, and the starry-eyed outlook of synth-pop.
MILKBLOOD is an electronic audio-visual collective founded by David "Kill Dave” Dahlquist, Pat Morrissey, and Mike Diva. As music producers, David and Pat have written and produced for artists including SZA, Stray Kids, Hayley Kiyoko, Weezer, Aespa, Tom Morello, Saint JHn, and Miley Cyrus. Mike has directed music videos for Lil Nas X, Run The Jewels, Doja Cat, and currently directs the pre-taped shorts on Saturday Night Live.2
Following the success of their self-released debut single "Sick Of Being Honest" and EP "VOID", the group signed to RCA Records under JJ Abrams' Loud Robot imprint in 2020. The group's sophomore EP "DREAM SLOW" came out in 2022 and showcased tracks such as "Wicked", a collab with artist PVRIS, "Wait" featuring vocalist Bipolar Sunshine, and "No Mind" which was chosen as the end credits track for the blockbuster "Uncharted". The band's music has also secured syncs for EA's FIFA 23, Need for Speed, and Apple.
Presented by El Cid.
