Born Walter Hendricks III, he tested the waters of the music industry at the young age of 9 years old, but his career did not officially begin until he stepped on stage at a talent show at Kentucky State University. An active student at the time, Hendricks took a chance on himself and his craft as he entered the talent show, and although he failed to emerge victorious, Hendricks came back with another important piece of the puzzle: confirmation.
