**About The Blue Stones**
*https://www.thebluestonesmusic.com/*
The Blue Stones take a remarkably vulnerable approach to the rock genre with their new album Pretty Monster.
Formed in 2011 in Windsor, Ontario, The Blue Stones is a two-piece band comprised of Tarek Jafar and Justin Tessier. They released their first EP the same year with their debut album Black Holes, following in 2015. The duo has been recognized by the Junos with a nomination for Best Breakthrough Group in 2020. Known for their compilation of rock and other musical genres, The Blue Stones have set out to create a more personal album this time around while maintaining the sound they have already established.
**About The Darcys**
*https://www.thedarcys.ca/*
The Darcys is the ever-evolving musical project formed by Toronto’s Jason Couse and Wes Marskell. Now based in Los Angeles, The Darcys treat every album like an event accompanied by vibrant imagery and playful lyrics. With each release the duo craft distinct eras that explore their creative headspace. The Darcys follow their three most successful radio singles ever, “Running For the Hills'' “Washed Away” and "Trouble Found Me," with the distorted alt-rock anthem “I’m Starting to Think I’m Bad at Parties.” The song’s breakneck urgency is infectious as the duo mischievously sing about the human condition and confront the monotony of daily life, loneliness, and social demands. Over the past 10 years, The Darcys have released five distinctive and critically acclaimed albums, earning them more than 25 Million+ streams, nominations for a JUNO Award, Polaris Prize, and an MMVA, as well as praise from outlets such as Billboard, SPIN, NPR, American Songwriter, and Esquire.
